Today, we continue our walk through the life of Joshua, a faithfully
consistent man. We have seen that his faithfulness starts with his connection to
the presence of God. I believe that was the seed that grew him into the man we
are reading about today. We also saw how important it is to have a POV filtered
through our trust in the father. Recently, I have been challenged by the fact that I
don’t live historically. What does that mean? It means I often forget that God
loves me and has historically taken care of me. Looking at my life in decades, not
days, I always see His redeeming grace. The problem is that when I choose to
live in the moment, I often forget the decade’s history. Today, God wants to reset
your reminders and help us live historically.
